A few Garrisons easily fund the Warlord's bottom bargains army on the early game, until chances of protests start going down. Garrisons with Blockades are the Warlord's equivalent to the Smuggler's Military Inc, with the extra benefit of blocking Insurgents' retreat. I use the Instructor for my green slot, that way I can delay getting Coalition 1 so I can rush garrisons. Since I *start* with militias, and unlike in Plague Inc, I can't devolve them, I use the Police Chief for my pink slot, so the Insurgents have a harder time dominating the map. While smuggler has some problems, funding is *not* one of them, so corruption reduction is good for him since he's a corruption prone governor. I use the Investigative Journalist for my yellow slot, and I rush my army and Military Inc ASAP which pretty much funds me for the rest of the game. Once the dam is set up I have no money problem anymore. On Azure Dam I take the City Planner for securing the South East area earlier, so rushing the dam doesn't bleed out as much reputation early on. Private Donor (I usually run with banker, and extra starting money = higher early interest rates, since with banker I'm usually funding myself with interests).Įngineer (garrisons are awesome all around for boxing in insurgents.) Religious Leader (for weakening the insurgents more when I secure areas) Drill Sergeant (faster National Troops is useful)
